Todd D. Epp

Todd D. Epp , Todd D. Epp has joined Galland Law Firm, P.C. as a staff attorney. Todd's practice areas include business, employment, intellectual property, litigation, and government affairs. Prior to his law career, his was TV journalist, having worked at public and commercial TV stations in Topeka, KS, Brookings, SD, and Sioux Falls, SD. He is a graduate of Augusta (Kansas) High School, Washburn University of Topeka, Washburn Law School, and the University of Houston Law Center.

He has had legal and scholarly articles published in the Washburn Law Review, the International Journal and Comparative and Applied Criminal Justice, Kansas History, and South Dakota History. He is also a freelance writer, with articles appearing in the Washington Post, the Minneapolis Star Tribune, the Kansas City Star, South Dakota Magazine, the Sioux Falls Argus Leader, as well as a number of other publications and online content providers. He writes a regular TV review column for TV Bloggin, found at, and is a monthly freelance contributor to the
Water Strategist
, a California-based journal on water law, news, and transactions.

Epp is a member of the State Bar of South Dakota and the Kansas Bar Association. He is a past chair of the State Bar of South Dakota's intellectual property committee.

A Yankton, SD native, Epp lives in Harrisburg, SD with his wife Donna and their children Sarah and Matt. His interests include coaching and officiating youth soccer, photography, politics, and playing with his three dogs, Thunder, Winston, and Toto.
